| Consultations Location, contact details and hours @ Helios, 8 New Row, Covent Garden,
London, WC2N 4LJ Appointments: 020 73 79 74 34 Wednesday 09:00 - 14:00 Fees
Medicines are charged for separately and mostly cost £5 – £20. Please note that payment needs to be made after the consultation in cash or cheque only. Unfortunately I have no means of processing card transactions. Should you wish to change your appointment, please do so no later than 24 hours before the consultation. Appointments that are missed or cancelled less than 24 hours before are charged in full. By booking a consultation, you are agreeing to these conditions. What to expect I will need much the same sort of information from you that a GP would, but that is only the starting point. I will need to know about your symptoms in great detail and will enquire about your past medical history, how you feel and think, sleep patterns, dreams, appetite, food cravings, temperature sensitivities and much more. If necessary, I may also perform basic checks such as taking your blood pressure or testing your urine, or may ask you to go for blood tests. This will help me to build up a more comprehensive picture of the nature of the disorder in your system and will allow me to prescribe remedies aimed at the imbalance which is underlying your unique set of problems. Follow-up consultations are vital and are aimed at assessing your response to the medicines & adjusting treatment in order to restore you to an optimum level of health. Treatment is highly individualised and is tailor-made to deal with your unique set of problems. Treatment may consist of homeopathic remedies in pill, tablet or liquid form, herbal medicines (usually in liquid or powder form), mineral remedies, supplements and dietary or lifestyle advice. Taking and storing medicines Homoeopathic medicines have been prepared with the greatest care and require some special attention when they are handled and stored:
Herbal medicines
What to avoid when taking homeopathic medicines If you drink coffee, try to cut back on the amount that you have and if you don’t usually drink coffee, please avoid drinking it at all for the duration of your treatment. Also avoid using anything that has camphor, menthol or eucalyptus oil in it such as medicated soaps, balms (e.g. Tiger balm, Vicks), lip balms, shaving creams, Olbas, menthol cigarettes etc as these are known to antidote homoeopathic medicines. Check the products that you are using to see of they contain any of these substances. Surgery, acupuncture, dental work and aromatherapy may all antidote the effects of homeopathic medicines, but this varies from person to person. Please discuss any queries you may have with me.
